We all know what a great place Gloucester is! With a fantastic variety of activities,
phenomenal views, beautiful drives and a great shopping centre, not to mention our Gallery, Museum, a wide range of eateries and lots of places to stay.
How do we get that message across? A picture speaks a thousand words, so what better way than to hold a Youtube Video competition. Submit
your ideas on why Gloucester is a great destination.
The video at the top of this page is an example of the type of footage we are looking for.

WHAT TO SUBMIT: Video entries that answer the question: “why is Gloucester a great holiday destination?”
HOW TO SUBMIT: Your video can be up to two minutes long. Post your video on Youtube
(or any of the other video host sites). Then email

In the subject line include "Video Competition Entry" (or similar) and in the body of the email cut-and-paste a link to your video.
CLEAR ALL RIGHTS: When submitting your video or photographs, all rights must be cleared. Anyone who appears in the video
or whose work you have used should be fully credited (if they wish to be) and have agreed to being filmed or photographed and
their performance being published. This includes brands, stills, videos and music.
KEEP IT CLEAN: Defamatory, obscene or unlawful material will not be accepted.
KEEP IT SAFE: Footage displaying activities which are dangerous, risky, or where you or
someone else could be hurt will not be accepted.
In submitting items for entry into this competition you declare that the material submitted is original and that you hold
the entire and exclusive copyright of that material. Where any of the items submitted are copyrighted or contain material
that is copyrighted you further declare that you have sought and received permission to use those items.
In submitting this material, you grant Gloucester Tourist Committee an irrevocable worldwide, royalty-free, non exclusive
licence to use, reproduce, distribute, display or modify the material in its entirety or portions thereof.
By submitting your entry, you authorise Gloucester Tourist Committee to grant a limited licence to third-party requesters
to publish, display and distribute the submitted material and agree that your name, likeness and biographical material
including affiliation, may be used in connection with and promotion of the submitted material.
