Set amidst picturesque countryside with rolling hills, dams, creeks and bushland, Barkeldine Cottage is the perfect location for a getaway with family or friends. 

Located midway between Barrington Tops and the Forster/Tuncurry Coast, it is an ideal base to explore the whole Coastal & Hinterland Region.

The property is 125 acres and is home to approx 25 head of cattle, 2 donkeys & a number of geese. There is always an abundance of wild birdlife and you may be lucky to spot the occasional wallaby, echidna or turtle. Miniature frogs can be found down by the creek or in the shady foliage near the Homestead .

Whether you choose to be energetic or to relax and do absolutely nothing, you are certain to find your stay at Barkeldine enjoyable and refreshing.

Barkeldine is located 25 kilometres (about 20 minutes) east of Gloucester via the Bucketts Way As you exit Gloucester, travel North along Bucketts Way towards Taree for about 10 mins before turning right into Wallanbah Rd. Continue along the road until it becomes dirt .Our property is opposite the turn off to Yates Ave and is the one with the white fences. The Cottage is the building on the lower side of the tennis court with the pool at the back. 

Alternatively, if travelling south on the Pacific Highway, take the overbridge exit at Nabiac and follow Wallanbah Rd for 30 minutes (28 kilometres) inland, 

or if travelling north on the Pacific Highwayturn left into Willina Rd at Coolongolook. Follow the road to it’s junction with Wallanbah Rd, and then turn left.

Barkeldine Cottage  Accommodates minimum 2 adults / maximum 12. 
For 2 adults our tariff is $120 pn with additional adults @ $40 pp/pn. 
Children aged 2-16 years, $15 pp/pn. (Max 8) 

Old Managers Quarters 
Minimum stay 2 nights. 1-2 adults only. Tariff is $80 per night.
