Our wonderful breakfasts include luscious spiced or fresh fruits, creamy yoghurt with local honey, our tasty home-baked breads and your choice of hot dishes: pancakes with maple syrup; baked eggs with Capparis goat cheese and fresh thyme; old favourites bacon and eggs with roasted tomatoes; delicate herbed mushrooms. 

Delicious Sri Lankan curries and tasty meals featuring "Essentially Barrington" and other fresh local produce are now available to our guests. Please discuss this when making your reservation, as notice is generally required.  Ceylon tea, Vittoria coffee and home-baked biscuits are always available.

The private bathroom is beautifully appointed for you to luxuriate in the sinfully deep bath or soak your cares away in the large double shower.  Reverse cycle air conditioning, overhead fans and an open fire in the sitting room ensure your comfort all year round.

We are pleased to welcome families with children to A Room with a View.  You are our only guests - relax and enjoy a family holiday while your meals are prepared and served to you.  Early dinner for the little ones, then take pleasure in a glass of local wine with dinner by the fire or on the verandah, while the children sleep in the next room. 

A Room with a View provides a porta-cot, high chair, flip out childrens' sofa bed for toddlers and a toy box - just bring your clothes and the childrens' favourite toys.

Bed and Breakfast for two:
$160 per night Friday and Saturday
$140 per night Sunday to Thursday inclusive

Mid-week special:
$120 per night for two for stays of three or more nights Sunday to Thursday, outside school and public holiday periods (mention on booking, please).

Children 5-15 years $30 per night
Infants under 5 years - free of charge

We take pleasure in helping you choose your day's activities, and make reservations with local operators for horse riding, canoeing or four wheel drive tours.

Enjoy golf, tennis, bowls or croquet in the glorious Gloucester Park, under the beautiful Bucketts Mountains. Follow our new Farm Trail Map to delight in local produce - herbs, goat cheese, wines to name a few.

A Room with a View is located on the edge of Gloucester Township, near the Railway Station. We are happy to collect you from the station if you prefer not to drive to Gloucester.
